The Author 

This is the home of the Acumen Book by author Andrew Crockett.

Through this website the author hopes to stay in touch with the readers, keep them informed about the next installments of Acumen and also encourage people to contribute to his future works.

Andrew Crockett lives in Northern NSW with his wife Felicity and daughter Lola. Crockett was born in Bath (UK) but has lived in Australia since he was five weeks old. His creative output is impressive and has seen him inducted into the Australian Surfing Hall Of Fame (2006 'Media Award), he has toured his books with art exhibitions in California and the United Kingdom, been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine and the Sydney Morning Herald 'Review Of The Week' (Saturday Spectrum section) twice.

Crockett lives with Crohn's disease and has done so since he was 18 years old. He has had life saving surgery three times and today continues to battle the illness. He donates money from the sales of his books to help find a cure for Crohns disease. He was featured on the front cover of the Crohns And Colitis Magazine in 2009 and has a brief http://crohnsdiseasehelpadvice.blogspot.com/ where people can read his experiences.
